Mercuriusstaf : Mint-mark of the Dutch Mint.

Op 1 juli 1994 werd 's Rijks Munt geprivatiseerd, en deze heet voortaan De Nederlandse Munt NV. De enige aandeelhouder is de Staat der Nederlanden.
Op munten geslagen bij de Nederlandse Munt staat een muntteken en een muntmeesterteken.

Soms worden oude stempels gebruikt, zonder het muntmeester teken te vervangen:
Volgens de pijl en boog is de linker munt geslagen tussen 1989 and 1999. Op de rechter munt staat ook een pijl en boog, maar volgens de datum op de munt moet deze geslagen zijn na 6 oktober 2002.

According to the bow and arrow privy mark, the left coin is struck between 1989 and 1999. The right coin bears the same privy mark, but according to the date on the coin it must be struck after october 6th 2002.
