Mint-marks are used to identify the mint, the designer or the distributor of the coin.
Mnzzeichen deuten auf Pr„gest„tte, Mnzmeister und Graveure. In Deutschland deuten die Buchstaben auf die Mnzst„tten Berlin (A), Mnchen (D), Stuttgart (F), Karlsruhe (G) und Hamburg (J).
